2008 sees the 6th anniversary of the BPTA.
As society's awareness of the importance of sustainability has increased so has the challenge of clear and effective sustainability reporting moved up the agendas of public bodies, corporates and the capital markets.
We have introduced a new award this year for Sustainability Reporting and sustainability will continue to be an underlying theme in the criteria for our other awards listed opposite.
We will automatically review the FTSE 100 & 250 companies for the awards listed; and the largest 100 organisations for the Public Sector award. We will be looking at all publicly available reporting materials in the period 1 April 2007 through to 31 March 2008.
Winners to be announced at the BPTA Gala Dinner in London on 29 September 2008.
